Jobs boost from household cleaning firm Jeyes

Household cleaning specialist Jeyes has announced plans to create another 30 jobs at its UK manufacturing base, which currently employs 250 people.

The firm behind market leading brands including Bloo, Parozone and Easy will offer positions including operator roles as its factory site in Thetford, Norfolk and aims to employ people with the potential to fulfil supervisory roles later in their career.

The move, part of an ongoing recruitment and investment programme which saw 20 new staff recruited at the same site towards the end of last year, follows a ?1m modernisation programme in new equipment and machinery.

?As well as creating these new positions, we?re also placing a big emphasis on training and development. A multi-skilled workforce will be vital to our ongoing success as we look to maximise efficiency and improve the quality our products,? said Jeyes group HR manager Paula Bryan.
