2007 Ford Mustang V6 - stalling while driving

Hi everyone,

I have a 2007 Ford Mustang V6 which has not been driven a lot. It is my summer fun car and it has been winter stored every year. It has around 30,000 KM's on it and it has been serviced accordingly and I have not had any issues to date.

About a week ago, while I was driving, all of the lights in the instrument panel turned on and the card completely stalled (engine off, no acceleration). I'm a computer techie so the first thing that popped into my head was to "restart it" as I was in moving traffic. I quickly put the car into park, turned the ignition off, and then turn it back on.... This got it working and I drove to my destination which was about 15 KM's away without any issues. About 8 days went buy without any issues and the problem occurred again. I'm not a mechanic but it looks like the car is losing complete communication to it's computer and deciding to malfunction / fail.

Before I take it to a bodyshop (probably Ford), I wanted to get some feedback from the pros.

Thanks in advance.
