Atlanta is the capital of and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia, with a 2010 population of 420,003. The Atlanta metropolitan area is home to 5,268,860 people and is the ninth largest metropolitan area in the country. With the recent housing crash, many of these people are looking for homes to rent.?Nowadays, more and more homeowners cannot get access to credit to buy properties. This has increased the number of people who will need to rent. This means lower vacancy rates.
Median Home Price is Lower Than the National Average
As of January 2012 Atlanta had the lowest housing prices of major metropolitan areas in the country. Low prices means high rates of return for those investing in real estate.
Jobs
Job growth in Atlanta is increasing at a faster rate than the national average. Atlanta metropolitan area is the eighth-largest economy in the country and 17th-largest in the world. The city serves as the regional, national, or global headquarters for many corporations. Atlanta contains the country?s third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies, and the city is the global headquarters of corporations such as The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, Delta Air Lines, AT&T Mobility, UPS, and Newell-Rubbermaid. These companies employ a large portion of Atlanta?s tenant population.

As of 2006, Atlanta Metropolitan Area ranked as the 10th largest cyber city (high-tech centre) in the US with 126,700 high-tech jobs. Atlanta?s biotechnology sector is growing and gaining international recognition. High tech companies are some of the fastest growing companies in the world, leading to growth in higher paying jobs.
25-34 Year Olds
Atlanta leads the nation in attracting the labor market?s most sought-after demographic ? college educated workers aged 25-34. These young people move to Atlanta, rent homes, and then after a few years move into the home owner stage of their lives.
Current Prices
